DIRECTIONS:
PREPARATION: If stripping is necessary, use a
high quality stripper and follow directions accordingly.
If floor is in good condition and stripping is
not necessary, sweep up excess dirt and dust and
then clean with a good quality cleaner to remove
dirt and oils. Follow with a thorough rinsing
and allow drying completely. FINISHING: Apply
2 or 3 liberal coats of finish using a clean mop.
Allow a minimum of 45 minutes drying time between
coats. Apply additional coat to obtain desired
gloss. BURNISHING: Dust mop or sweep thoroughly.
Clean floor with a neutral floor cleaner diluted
according to directions. Burnish using the appropriate
pads. RESTORATION: Dust mop or sweep thoroughly.
Dilute restorer according to manufacturer direction
and apply to floor with clean mop or auto-scrubber.
Allow to dry to a haze and buff out with any type
of UHS equipment-propane, battery, or cord electric.
RECOATING: Dust mop or sweep thoroughly. Deep
scrub using a neutral floor cleaner diluted according
to directions. Apply 1 or 2 liberal coats of finish
using a clean mop.
1. Quick Curing Time
Mega Flex’s patented polymer technology
allows for easy application and superior film
formation in hot humid conditions that would surpass
conventional finishes on the market today. Of
course, optimal conditions are best for optimal
performance, but when time is limited, especially
in the summertime, Mega Flex is your finish. In
humid conditions, Mega Flex will not haze or produce
a film.
2. Goof Proof Application
Even with an inexperienced applicator, Mega Flex
is easy to apply and goes down without streaks
and is self-leveling. Mega Flex has a consistent
particle size distribution, improving gloss and
leveling, while reducing mop drag. This consistent
particle size also eliminates micro coagulation,
which reduces gloss.
3. Easy, Flexible Maintenance
This new patented polymer technology allows Mega
Flex to be maintained in a variety of ways. Mega
Flex can be maintained as a high or ultra high
speed finish by dry burnishing or using restoration
type products. Mega Flex also performs equally
well as a low maintenance finish using standard
equipment and spray buffing. Mega Flex’s
gloss and durability will respond beautifully
to either maintenance procedure.
4. Test Results & Observations
Initial Application: MISCO’s Mega Flex floor
finish exhibits better gloss and leveling than
SC Johnson’s “Carefree,” particularly
during the first three coats of application. Long
Term Durability: Mega Flex provides better gloss
retention and better response to high speed propane
burnishing. Mega Flex does not show swirling and
provides higher gloss numbers than SC Johnson’s
Carefree Floor Finish.
